Craig Van Ness
Craig Van Ness a Music Together Director and Teacher since 1999 has worked with thousands of children emphasizing actual music experiences through play rather than musical concepts. Craig introduces them to the pleasures of making music versus passively receiving it from CDs or TV and helps families and caregivers rediscover the pleasure and educational value of informal music experiences.
Prior to becoming a Music Together Teacher, Craig was a mortgage banker and spent 15 years in various commercial industries. Until being saved by the introduction to Music Together (thank you Nancy Parent) and it's unlimited possibilities and rewards of touching the lives of children and their families. |

Lydia Byhardt Bollinger, LCSW
Lydia’s passion for music started in living room jam sessions with her parents when she was a little girl. She has played flute and French Horn in many wind ensembles and orchestras, and later learned to play Irish and Folk music on Penny Whistle and guitar. She loves folk dancing, and has performed Irish Ceili and Step Dancing as an adult. She loves to sing, and will start at the drop of a hat, so be careful with your hat! Lydia started with Music Together as a parent with her 18 month old daughter. She was so impressed with the impact that it had on young Maya that she decided to become a Music Together teacher. Watching families learn, grow, and smile through music fits perfectly into her vision for families to Remember the Joy of music and special time together! Lydia has been a preschool and elementary teacher, and has worked with children and families for over 15 years. Lydia is now licensed as a Child and Family Therapist with a private practice in West Linn, OR, (www.RememberTheJoy.com). |
