POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

 

Refund Policy: Once confirmed in a class, an administrative fee of $25.00 will be deducted for withdrawals if cancelled before the session begins. Families are responsible for class attendance. No refunds are given after the current session begins. There are no exceptions.

 

Class size:  Maximum 10 children per class at our Lake Oswego location. Siblings under 9 months do not require a seat. However, all children attending class must be enrolled. Each family unit should have a max of four people, except families with 3 children. 2 adults max, please.  

 

Mask Usage: All adults and children 5+ must wear a mask. Smaller children are encouraged to; please use your discretion.

 

Health Assessment: Before you leave home... Please do a quick health assessment and stay home if you or anyone living in your home is showing any of these symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, other respiratory symptoms, or any two of these symptoms: chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. Please stay home if you or anyone you've been in close contact with has been exposed to COVID-19.

 

Vaccinations: Teacher Craig has been vaccinated. We encourage all adults who attend our program to be vaccinated.

 

No food or drink in our studio. 

 

Weather: If there is inclement weather, we will notify families via email and text as soon as possible, and classes may move to Zoom for that day. There will be no partial credits or refunds classes that move to the Zoom room due to inclement weather. Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Classes: If Willamette River Music Together must cancel classes due to extreme weather or events beyond our control such as power outages, the missed classes will be added on if/when possible. No refunds due to these reasons will be given.

 

Make-up Classes: If you miss a class, please schedule a makeup on our website! Makeups are available on a space-available basis. 

 

Class Cancellations: Sometimes classes don’t fill the way we would like. If this occurs, we will attempt to transfer you to another open class. Willamette River Music Together reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. In such a case, a refund for unused classes will be given. 

 

Media Release: Willamette River Music Together and its business affiliates are hereby granted permission to take photographs and audio-visual recordings of the students in classes and other related events to use in brochures, websites, social media, advertisements and other promotional materials that Willamette River Music Together creates. Permission is also hereby granted for Willamette River Music Together to copyright such photographs in its name. Families may opt out at any time by emailing [email protected].

 

Oregon State Mandates: We will switch to online classes if Oregon State mandates change in current COVID-19 protocols. There will be no refunds or credits due to classes moving online.

 

Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained at Willamette River Music Together venues resulting from normal class activity or any other activity conducted by families before, during, or after class time.

 

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that any adult who brings your child to class has read and understood the policies, procedures, and waiver prior to attending class! 

 

Willamette River Music Together  LLC reserves the right to modify and update policies according to CDC and state guidelines as new information and guidance become available.

 


LIABILITY WAIVER FOR IN-PERSON CLASSES: 

COVID-19 ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY. As a willing participant in Music Together® classes at Willamette River Music Together, my family and I agree to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS: I understand that naturally occurring disease processes (including, but not limited to, the novel coronavirus or COVID-19), may exist in the community, including at Willamette River Music Together, and present an inherent risk that cannot be eliminated. I acknowledge that, although Willamette River Music Together is taking reasonable measures to avoid contact, transmittal, and exposure of disease processes like COVID-19 between people in our classes, it is ultimately my own responsibility to ensure that I take appropriate actions to safeguard myself and my child/children, including all adults, and children five or older, wearing masks when arriving to, departing from, or leaving the family blanket at any time during, class. While participating in an indoor class, I agree to wear a mask at all times while inside the classroom. All family members must stay within their personal blanket/area and ensure that personal instruments/props are not shared between families. I understand and agree that as a registered family with Willamette River Music Together, I am accepting and voluntarily assuming the risk that my child or I may be exposed and become ill as a result of COVID-19 and other diseases.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: I, on behalf of myself and my children, hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and covenant not to sue Willamette River Music Together and its owners, managers, contractors, members, employees, agents, and volunteers, or the outdoor location owner (“Released Parties”) for any claims that may arise out of or relate in any way to my or my child’s exposure to any communicable disease, including but not limited to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other accident that may cause harm. I also assume the inherent risk of being outdoors with my children including but not limited to ticks, bees/yellowjackets, insects, poison ivy, or other outdoor hazards. The claims hereby released include, but are not limited to, claims of negligence against any of the Released Parties.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. BY ENROLLING IN CLASSES AT WILLAMETTE RIVER MUSIC TOGETHER, I UNDERSTAND I HAVE GIVEN UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS AND THAT THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL DOCUMENT
